Yoga is for all bodies. Most general classes are suitable for all body types however this page will include information and links to teachers in our community who cater yoga classes specifically to supporting body positive practices. Classes empower students regardless of their shape, size or level of ability. All Yoga classes should be inclusive, however this curated list of teachers may have more experience with modifications for different body types.

Adaptive Yoga
In Adaptive Yoga, traditional poses are tailored to the physical body, rather than fitting and forcing the body into a particular pose and shape. Props such as blankets, chairs, straps and blocks are used to meet the needs of individuals with different abilities. An Adaptive Yoga class provides all the benefits of a basic Yoga class at the level that the individual student is capable of practicing.

Beginning her practice in 2008, Cinde teaches Integral ® Hatha and Pranayama Levels 1 & II and Adaptive Yoga.
