"My heart is full. ❤
When I'm completely true to me, the authentic me, live with integrity even against the odds, it always works out. (The event) was magical.
Choosing to be a volunteer and guide a Strala Yoga class for my community on our first historic Bermuda Pride event was magical.
Strala = ignite your light.
We honoured our light and love and all the beautiful energy in the park before the Pride Parade. Over 6000 attended the parade. And the self hugs movement near the end of yoga practice, SO MANY SMILES AND LOVE. I'm so grateful to have been a part."

Summer Solstice 2019
WE GOT RAINED OUT THIS YEAR !!!
Despite the forecast of thunderstorms, about 35 + people showed up in an attempt to come together for a shared experience that morning.
Our Astwood Park event was scheduled to start at 6am and at 5.58am, the rain began… by 6.15 it was torrential!!!
Our practice that morning was...LETTING GO of expectations & EMBRACING THE MOMENT and choosing to sit in the rain and just go with it.
Some people stayed for just a few minutes. Some made it through 10 min of Kirtan and we sat singing in the rain!
And if you made it all the way to the warm ups, I hope it was at least fun to get drenched by the fresh downpour; to be cleansed by the beautiful rain and connect with the earth.

Thank you to all our presenters this year... we hope you get a chance to teach next year instead ;)
Summer Solstice 2018
This year we celebrated the 15th Anniversary of our annual, community, Summer Solstice Sunrise Yoga Practice.
For this special occasion we incorporated the theme from another community event...
#WalkTOGETHERBermuda is a community collaboration to inspire hope & compassion & to bring the people of our beautiful island together. We captured the spirit of WalkTogether by borrowing the inspiration boards they used during their event.
The boards invited you to consider and connect with someone over the following questions:
Share your story * What do you care about? What Matters to you? * What does a peaceful Bermuda look like to you? * What makes a community come together and what can you do?
Participants also received a booklet of quotes we complied to mark the occasion.
The quotes were submitted by BYTA members and friends in the yoga community.
Thank you very much to our teachers who presented the class:
Trish Alexander; Elaine White; Sophia Cannonier; Melanie Dupres; Bec Cottingham; Shadae Smith-Steede; Robin Holder; & Marcia Pringle
And thank you to everyone who joined us on this beautiful morning!
